I wish it was possible to rate this movie higher than a five…
Everything was an absolute masterpiece: the visual shots, the cast, the story, the sound design. 'A masterpiece of time and space.' (Or at least it feels like it!)
I’m so glad I got to watch this in IMAX the experience was truly incredible. I didn’t even want to blink. Honestly, time seemed to dilate, 'Time is measured in moments, not in minutes'... or in my case, measured in how long my poor neck could survive those terrible cinema seats. That was literally the only bad aspect, and it’s definitely not the movie's fault. My neck is destroyed, but it was totally worth it because the film was so mesmerizing that I completely forgot the pain while watching.
Christopher Nolan, you absolute GOAT.
My absolute favorite scenes? First: the scene with the big idk what that guy actually is, let’s call him the 'creepy-ass big motherfucker' boss monster. Absolute nightmare fuel. And second: the scene where the boat sinks. Pure, unadulterated cinema.
'Do not go gentle into that good night' unless you are sitting in those awful cinema chairs. Loved every single second.
