Just watched Donnie Darko for the third time, and I swear: the more you rewatch it, the more confusing it gets. You spot details you never noticed before, and every time you think you've finally figured it out, a hundred new questions pop into your head.
Despite that or honestly, probably because of it it's still easily one of the best movies ever made. I don't even know how to properly explain it, it just hits different. It completely scrambles your brain, but you love every second of the chaos.
And let's be real: if someone told me I could unlock time travel just by hanging out with a mentally unstable teenager, a creepy-ass demonic rabbit, and an entire town full of the most unhinged suburbanites known to humanity... I'd still sign up immediately. Therapy is expensive anyway, but watching a guy in a furry nightmare suit ruin a local politician's life? Priceless.
Can’t wait for Halloween just so I can watch it all over again.
Worum geht’s?
